A Lifeguard is a rescuer who supervises the safety and rescue on the water. Lifesaving movement started at sandy shores of Australia. Its successful example was followed by the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Singapore, South Africa and overwhelming majority of European countries. Recently Ukraine has joined to this list, but only by its capital – Kyiv.
Our team – is a youth leading a healthy lifestyle, are strong swimmers and possess a special background and knowledge required to this job, including trainers, specialists, students, sportsmen etc.
Course of study lasts between two weeks and up to month and includes: physical training, development of rescue skills on and under the water, with and without special equipments, first aid training (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) according to the standards of International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as modeling of non-standard situations.
